News: April 2025
1. 2025 Club Officers:

2. Dues for 2025 are $30.00. You may deposit your check in the slot under the refrigerator in the Wood Shop. If you would like, you may use the envelope that is provided for your use. The envelopes are on top of the bookcase by the door. Locker Rental is $5.00, and under table space is $30.00.
3. Woodworkers meeting/Party, March/18/2025 10:50 AM.
Board members present: Gary C, John M, Karen C, Tom N
Karen: was MC at our Spring Fling and held a short meeting with Gary cooking all of our food for our gathering.
Thanks to all who donated raffle gifts.
Thanks to Gary, John, Doug and Karen for helping out at our Spring Fling.
Last months minutes approved unanimously by members.
John: Treasurers report: $13,000
172 members in good standing
The Board continues to work on updating monitors handbook.
Recently our board has purchased a circle cutter for our router. The cost is 79.95 plus shipping and tax.
March 22: shop Clean up 9-12
April 5: SFK workshop 9 – 12.
April 12: monitors Appreciation Pizza Party
Later in the Summer: Work bench restoration.
No new news.
No questions from the audience.
Meeting ended at 1100. Luncheon began.

4. Periodically residents of our community ask Wood Shop members to help them with a woodworking project. Often these projects involve restoration of furniture or preparing some wood for something that they are adding to their home. Most times residents is willing to make a donation to the Woodworking Club for our efforts. If you are willing to help with some of these projects, please speak with Bill Norton in the Wood Shop, or phone him. His phone number is on the roster in the Wood Shop.

Thanks to Ken Rosberg, we have a new SawStop Contractor Saw. This additional table saw will help take to load off the SawStop Industrial Model saws during peak demand for those machines. Click here to view operator's manual.
The 12" jointer was placed into service on 9-14-2022. Click here to view its owner's manual.
A new Jet 16-40EVS (Electronic Variable Speed) Lathe was recently placed into service also. Click here to view its operating manual.
The new Jet OSS-S Oscillating Spindle Sander was delivered to the shop and placed into service on 10/06/2022. It replaces the Jet JOVS Oscillating Spindle Sander. Click here to view its operating manual.
